Volunteers needed!
Write On Vancouver is the Vancouver Public Library’s first writing and publishing festival, and Editors BC will be part of this one-day celebration of all things bookish. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow editors and potential clients, have some fun, and check out the festival.
We are looking for volunteers to staff the Editors BC booth, in teams of two, for one- or two-hour shifts between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Saturday, May 13. The event will be held at the Vancouver Public Library’s Central Branch.
The main responsibilities are distributing printed information about Editors Canada and Editors BC and answering questions from festival attendees. No experience is necessary! New members are encouraged to participate and will be paired with more experienced editors wherever possible. We will try to have two people staffing the booth at all times.
