Join us at our upcoming monthly meeting for a presentation by Paula Ayer and Tiffany Stone on editing children’s books, including levels from picture books to young adult, and genres from sing-along books to graphic novels and series.
Tiffany Stone has been writing and editing children’s poetry and picture books for almost two decades. She began her editing career at Tradewind Books and now freelances for both traditional publishers and self-publishing clients. She primarily provides substantive editing but occasionally copy edits too.
Award-winning author Paula Ayer spent eight years with Annick Press, where she edited, translated, art-directed, and wrote or co-wrote many award-winning children’s books, specializing in non-fiction for middle readers and teens. Since 2017, she has worked as an editor for Greystone Books, where she edits and acquires both adult and children’s books.
